How Much Sunlight Do I Need?
Most wildflowers require a great deal of sunshine. If your area receives at least eight hours of direct sunlight per day, your wildflowers will prosper. A few species can tolerate partial shade, but for best results they must have at least five hours of sunlight each day. NOTE: Sunloving wildflowers that are planted in a shaded environment will produce spindly or "leggy" plants with very few blooms.
