            Over 20 years ago, Malcolm
Beck and Jerry Parsons introduced Texas' gardeners to the practice
of using cereal rye to control nematodes and provide green manure
fertilization. Here a much younger Malcolm demonstrates how tall cereal
rye (Elbon) can get from planting in November to shredding in February.
