Bermuda1.
Q: Would you please direct me to information regarding the care and maintenance of established and new sod bermuda grass under drought conditions.A: I would recommend reduced fertilization and as much water as feasibly possible. If water is not available, well-established bermuda will go dormant, turn brown but not die. Bermuda which is recently planted will not be as tolerant to drought resulting in a large percentage of dieback. All plants require a certain amount of water to survive -- even cactus -- and unestablished grass with a limited root system needs even more.
