Copper Plant, 'Copper Red.' This is an upgrade of the standard Copper Plant grown in the area for years. The variety 'Copper Red' was purchased from Glass House Works in Ohio several years ago by Pete Peterson. 'Copper Red' is a selected vegetative sport from the regular Copper Plant which enhances the copper color. This enables 'Copper Red' to display more color in the spring and allows the same propagation techniques to be used. Available from Lone Star and Petersons.
