| Phillip Hovey, 68, passed away January
1, 2002. In 1984, Phil became the owner and operator of Phil's Nursery.
He was an active member of the Men's Garden Club of San Antonio,
Bexar County Master Gardener Class 1, British Royal Horticultural
Society, and Texas Nursery and Landscaping Association. He was a
worker in the Folk Life Festival and Stock Show and Rodeo. He was
a dear friend of Drs. Jerry Parsons and Calvin Finch and all gardeners. |
